The Harry and Virginia Teckman Fund was established in 1997 by Charlie and Joan Teckman in honor of their longtime educator parents. From this fund, and through a selection committee, an annual award recognizing excellence in the Talawanda School District among teaches, administrators and staff is given -- the Harry and Virginia Teckman Excellence in Education Award.
