To promote and/or underwrite programs and activities identified by the Oxford, Ohio Police Department, for charitable, educational and social welfare purposes, including but not limited to "Shop with a Cop," during the holiday Season in December of each year, which Program is designed to provide relief for the poor and underprivileged youth in the Oxford Community and which is currently facilitated and coordinated by the Oxford Family Resource Center, and as a like or similar program may be facilitated and coordinated by another charitable organization, in the future.

- The "Welcome Students Program" sponsored at the beginning of each Miami University academic year, designed to educate Miami students, in particular new students, of the various social service, educational, cultural and health organizations in the community and to promote a cooperative environment between students and the Oxford Police Department thereby lessening neighboring tensions.

- Such other programs or activities that are charitable or educational in purpose and scope and/or which promote the social welfare of the community.
