The fund provides an annual scholarship to a graduating Talawanda High School senior pursuing post-secondary education (certificate or degree-granting program).

CRITERIA:

- Applicants must demonstrate:

- Academic and personal growth.

- Compassionate service to organizations, groups or individuals.

- Active participation in clubs, hobbies and/or organizations.

Recipients will be selected based on the policies of the Oxford Community Foundation regarding scholarships, the criteria set forth above, and the policies of the Talawanda School District regarding scholarships.

$500 is to be directed when requested to Talawanda Middle School each spring to be used as follows: -$250 to defray the costs for a child or children who are otherwise unable to pay for costs associated with the 6th grade Glen Helen Trip.

Recipient(s) are to be determined based on the recommendation of the Talawanda Middle School teacher in charge of the trip and Middle School principal.
