The Muhammad Ali Fund was started in 1996 with proceeds the sale of the book "Muhammad Ali: The People's Champ by Dr. Elliott Gorn, and after Mr. Ali visited Miami University and Oxford.  The fund is used to meet an identifiable need that reflecting Mr. Ali's generous concern for the social and health needs of underprivileged children in Greater Oxford.
