Established in 2021 by Steve Kramer and supported by many friends, colleagues and former students of long time Talawanda educator Melford T. Edwards, this scholarship  will be awarded to a graduating Talawanda High School student: -Planning a career path in education, coaching, or other education role with preference toward those focused on health/physical education or music

 -Minimum 2.5 GPA

 -Additional consideration will be given for those planning to attend Miami University and/or who have had personal and/or financial hardship
