The Luna Cares Fund of the Greater Oxford Community Foundation was established in 2010 to help provide support for women suffering from cancer, particularly women cancer patients who are uninsured or underinsured, but not exclusively. The uses of the Fund shall include, but are not limited to, such things as:

- Medical expense assistance.

- Charges for therapies, emotional or physical.

- Financial assistance to social service agencies that provide services directly to women who are suffering from cancer.

- Costs of cosmetic assistance, i.e. hair, prosthesis.

- All distributions from this fund will be made directly to providers of assistance or services to benefit a woman cancer sufferer, but not to any individual woman suffering from cancer.
