This restricted fund was established in 2000 to provide a scholarship grant to a Miami University student who best exemplifies concern for religious values and spiritual qualities, and has been active in promoting such values on the Miami campus. To be paid to Miami University, for the benefit of the Benton Award grantee, in order to help defray the grantee's tuition or other expenses of attending Miami University. Benton Awards will not be used to support sectarian activities of any religious organization.
