This purpose of this scholarship fund is to provide a monetary incentive for the recipient to achieve academic success at the high school level. The recipient will be awarded the scholarship upon his or her graduation from Talawanda High School and admission to a two-year or four-year post-secondary institution. Extra-curricular involvement is encouraged. The scholarship committee will be made up of Talawanda School District educators and community members, with committee members recommended by the donor. The scholarship committee will review candidates nominated by teachers and counselors in the Talawanda School District who are:

- In eighth through twelfth grade;

- At risk students as determined by the committee;

- Intend to enroll or are currently enrolled in Talawanda High School.
